PRAYS (PResbyterians At Your Service) is a self-proclaimed "home-repair ministry" that seeks to enact God's mandate to help those in need, as modeled through the life of Jesus Christ. Hard work, generosity of spirit, and dedication to ensuring safe, warm, and habitable homes for the economically disenfranchised in the New River Valley are the primary tenets of this volunteer organization. PRAYS is dedicated to following the mission and vision of Blacksburg Presbyterian Church, especially as a "church in the world. . . boldly addressing human need through social action."

MARCH PRAYS UPDATE

Can you believe that it is already the end of March?  The snow did not stop PRAYS, who went indoors to repair and refurbish homes, and the request for more work pours in.  Already four jobs are scheduled, and five more are in the planning stages for April alone.  Look through your calendars and read your emails for opportunities to come.

PRAYS has submitted a proposal for funds to the Endowment at Blacksburg Presbyterian Church to allow us to continue to maximally serve those in need.  Please keep PRAYS families in your prayers.
